All our mastering sessions are performed in our mastering studio in London.
Stem mastering is usually recommended if you have major concerns about the mix or if you want to give the mastering engineer more flexibility to reshape/enhance the mix. When the mastering happens from stems, you will submit multiple stereo tracks which contain consolidated instruments. We will work on each stem adjusting frequencies and levels to rebalance the mix if needed, and proceed with the final master. All our stem mastering are performed in analog SSL sum.

THE MASTERING PROCESS

By completing our form, you provide essential details about your project, requirements, and mastering preferences, allowing us to offer you the most accurate and convenient quote.
2. MASTERING
First, we ensure your mix is fully prepared for mastering, giving you the opportunity to address any issues that could compromise the final result. If necessary, we correct noise, frequency i balances, dynamics, and other technical aspects. Then, I refine the tone, apply enhancements, and optimise loudness to bring out the song’s full potential.
3. REVISIONS
You can review the master and share your feedback to discuss any notes or adjustments. We offer three free revisions to ensure the master meets your expectations. Once finalised, we export the master the required formats. Every file undergoes a final quality check before delivery.
4. DELIVERY
Every delivery includes files optimised for streaming platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. Additional formats are available upon request. You’ll also receive our feedback, ongoing support, and our sincere appreciation for choosing Master Your Track.

MASTERING FOR DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION:
This is our standard service and included in all our deliveries. It will cover mastering for all the most common digital platforms such as. Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL, etc.

APPLE DIGITAL MASTER:
Apple Digital Masters is a category of Apple Music. All the music in this category is badged and marketed as Apple Digital Masters (in the past known as Mastered for iTunes). All the music that fall into this category is quality certified for Apple Music.

MASTERING FOR CD:
A DDP Red Book compliant master for CD duplication will be produced. Along with audio tracks a DDP image also contains tacks order and layout, metadata, and error-check to ensure any CD is duplicated exactly as intended.

MASTERING FOR VINYL:
Technically called per-master (the master is the actual first physical copy on lacquer) we can ensure your music is optimised and can translate at its best on vinyl.

MASTERING FOR CASSETTE:
If you still fancy cassette we can optimise your music to be released on this beautiful media. The process of mastering for cassette is heavily influenced by the tape type that will be used. This will affects distortion, frequency response, and the sequencing of tracks. Please communicate effectively with us if you want to duplicate your music on cassette.

MASTERING FOR VIDEO USE:
For most professional video application it is required music at an higher sample rate (48 KHz). We can produce this specific format for you ensuring your music won't lose any quality during the conversion process.

MP3s:
Mp3 is a lossy format still largely used for promotion. Although is seems quite straightforward to create and mp3 from an high quality wav file this process can sometimes produce unwanted distortions. We can create high quality mp3s (320 Kbps) embedding al the important metadata and ensuring your files perform at the best in this format.
